As the Power & Promise campaign for Seattle Community Colleges enters its final months, we are celebrating the fact that the campaign has raised more than $30 million, surpassing our $25 million goal. Many individuals, foundations and corporations have contributed to the success of the campaign. We would like to share some campaign news about several of our major gifts:
Through the collaboration of the college presidents and the foundations at each of the three colleges and the district, the campaign has received over 8,000 gifts from more than 3,500 donors. In the next six months, the Power & Promise campaign will continue to expand boundaries and exceed expectations to ensure that the Seattle Community Colleges fulfill its mission to provide excellent, accessible educational opportunities to prepare our students for a challenging future.
